Dearly Beloved in the Lord: Christ is Among us!

It is with profound gratitude and joy that I share the blessed news that His Eminence Metropolitan Antony has been discharged from the hospital following his recent medical treatment for heart-related issues. By the mercy of God and the skilled hands of the medical team, our spiritual father is on the path to recovery.

On behalf of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA, I extend my heartfelt thanks to all clergy, faithful, and friends of the Church who have offered fervent prayers, heartfelt words of encouragement, and unwavering support for our beloved Metropolitan during this time of trial. Your love and dedication are a testament to the unity of Christ’s Body, the Church, as St. Paul reminds us: "If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together" (1 Corinthians 12:26).

Metropolitan Antony has always exemplified the steadfastness of a true shepherd, and even during this time, his concern for the well-being of our Church and faithful has remained unwavering. Let us, in turn, continue to uphold him in our prayers as he embarks on the journey of recovery. May the Lord grant him strength, health, and the renewal of spirit needed to return fully to his beloved ministry among us.

I ask you to persist in your intercessions for him, as the Apostle James reminds us: "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective" (James 5:16). May our collective prayers ascend as fragrant incense before the Lord, and may the Theotokos and all the saints intercede on his behalf.

On a personal note, I offer my deepest gratitude to God for preserving the life and ministry of our beloved hierarch. His witness and guidance are invaluable gifts to all of us who call the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA our spiritual home. Let us honor him by continuing to pray for his well-being and by dedicating ourselves to the sacred work of the Church he so dearly loves.

Улюблені в Господі: Христос серед нас!

З глибокою вдячністю та радістю ділюся доброю новиною про те, що Високопреосвященніший митрополит Антоній був виписаний із лікарні після недавнього лікування від хвороби серця. Милістю Божою та умілими руками медичних працівників наш духовний отець на шляху до одужання.

Від імені Української Православної Церкви США я висловлюю сердечну вдячність усім священнослужителям, вірним і друзям Церкви, які піднесли ревні молитви, щирі слова підбадьорення та непохитну підтримку нашого улюбленого Митрополита в цей час випробувань. Ваша любов і відданість є свідченням єдності Христового Тіла, Церкви, як нагадує нам св. Павло: «Якщо страждає один член, страждають усі разом; коли один член шанується, радіють усі разом» (1 Коринтян 12:26).

Митрополит Антоній завжди був прикладом стійкості справжнього пастиря, і навіть у цей час його турбота про благополуччя нашої Церкви та вірних залишається непохитною. Давайте, у свою чергу, продовжуватимемо підтримувати його в наших молитвах, коли він крокує шляхом одужання. Нехай Господь дарує йому силу, здоров’я та оновлення духу, необхідні для повного повернення до його улюбленого служіння серед нас.

Особисто я висловлюю глибоку вдячність Богові за збереження життя і служіння нашого улюбленого ієрарха. Його свідчення і провід є неоціненним даром для всіх нас, хто називає Українську Православну Церкву США своїм духовним домом.

Вшануймо його, продовжуючи молитися за його виздоровлення та присвячуючи себе священній праці Церкви, яку він любить та віддано служить.
